Loan Checklist: Get Ready for Your Mortgage Application!  

Are you gearing up to buy a new home? Having your documents ready can make the mortgage process a breeze! Here’s your checklist to prepare your mortgage application:

• Sales Contract (Purchase Agreement): Bring a copy of the contract for the home you’re purchasing. 
• Residence History: List complete addresses for the past 2 years, whether you rented or owned. 
• Employment History: for the past 2 years. 
• Income Statement: Gather W-2s for the last 2 years, and the most recent 2 months pay stubs with Year-to-Date earnings. Self-employed? Include your complete personal and business tax returns 
• Assets: Provide the last 2 months of bank statements (checking/savings), enough for your down payment and closing costs 
• Current Real Estate Owned: If you already own property, provide most recent mortgage statements.
